CAREER SERVICE REVIEWS

If you are looking for help in finding a new position, this site may be helpful.

There are hundreds if not thousands of individuals and firms offering to help you find a job or to make your next career move-- for a fee, of course.  There are few places you can go to learn whether any of them are worth what they charge (or anything at all).  This site aims to fill the gap by providing user feedback and ratings ("reviews") on such "career services."

WHAT WE ADDRESS AND WHAT WE DON'T

We seek and will distill and present feedback from executive-level employees and job-seekers who have used the services of individuals and businesses that provided services to THEM in finding a new position.

We will generally NOT review executive search firms ("headhunters"), as they represent the companies, not the employee.  Search firms generally get paid by the companies they represent, not the executive, and therefore their interest and loyalties lie with the companies and not you.

HOW YOU CAN HELP MAKE THIS SITE VALUABLE

1.  If you have paid for services to help find yourself a position or make a career move, we want to know about your experience, good or bad, with the person or firm you hired.  Please let us know.  We will not release your identity or e-mail address unless a court orders us to or you agree that we may.

2.  Tell people about this site.  It will only have value if it is used.

THE REVIEWS

We make every effort to validate the reviews (i.e., that they are provided by people who have actually paid for and used the services reviewed), but can't guarantee that nothing gets by us.  Also, the reviews set forth the opinions of the reviewer(s) only.  Our ratings are based on those opinions.  Results may vary for individuals.
